Daniel Dye is a land specialist with TexasLand who focuses on ranch properties, recreational land, and investment acreage across North Texas and beyond. Raised in Texas and deeply connected to the outdoors, Daniel brings a practical understanding of Texas land ownership and the lifestyle that often comes with it.
Daniel was born in Kentucky and raised in Argyle, Texas, where much of his early life revolved around time spent outdoors. From duck hunting trips in East Texas to pursuing whitetail deer in West Texas, those experiences helped shape his connection to the land at an early age. Time spent sitting in deer stands with his father, competing with his brother during dove season, and working on his grandfather’s farm instilled lessons in patience, discipline, and hard work that continue to influence his approach to both life and business.
While studying Marketing and Business Management at the University of Oklahoma, Daniel obtained his real estate license with the goal of building a career focused on Texas land and ranch real estate. After graduating, he and his wife, McKenzie, returned to Texas and settled in Grapevine. Daniel began his professional career at the headquarters of Mossy Oak Properties, where he became a certified land specialist and developed experience working with buyers and sellers of recreational land and ranch properties.
Through his work in Texas land brokerage, Daniel gained a deeper understanding of the many factors that influence land value and ownership, including land use, wildlife habitat, and long-term investment potential. That experience prepared him for the next step in his career when he joined TexasLand as the firm’s North Texas representative. In this role, he works with buyers and sellers across the region while contributing to the continued growth of the TexasLand platform.
Based in the Dallas–Fort Worth area, Daniel regularly works with clients throughout North Texas as well as across the state when opportunities arise. His work often involves ranch properties, recreational tracts, and investment land, helping clients evaluate the many considerations that come with purchasing or selling Texas land.
Daniel’s connection to the outdoors remains a central part of his life. When he is not working with clients, he continues to spend time hunting, exploring ranch properties, and enjoying the landscapes that first sparked his interest in Texas ranch real estate.
Through TexasLand, Daniel helps buyers and sellers navigate land transactions with a strong understanding of the land itself, the markets that shape it, and the long-term opportunities that Texas land ownership can provide.
