Originally from Midland, Texas, Jake earned his undergraduate degree from The University of Texas at Austin and later completed his Master of Business Administration at St. Edward’s University. His academic background in business and finance provided a strong foundation for evaluating real estate opportunities and understanding the economic factors that influence land value.
Before joining TexasLand, Jake worked for a nationwide commercial real estate developer where he focused on cost analysis, underwriting, and site selection for nationally based retail built to suit projects. That experience gave him valuable insight into how land is evaluated for long term development potential, market positioning, and strategic investment. The analytical skills developed in that role now help him guide clients through the many considerations involved in buying or selling Texas land.
Working in Texas land brokerage has allowed Jake to apply both his financial background and his personal appreciation for land ownership. He regularly works with clients exploring ranch properties and recreational land, helping them understand the factors that influence property value, usability, and long term potential across the Central Texas region.
Jake has always enjoyed spending time outdoors and takes advantage of the many ranches and waterways Texas has to offer.
