Karla Gowing is a REALTOR with TexasLand who works with buyers and sellers throughout Southwest Austin, Dripping Springs, and the surrounding Hill Country. With a background that spans both real estate operations and client representation, she brings a detailed understanding of the transaction process and the local market to every deal she manages.
Licensed since 2007, Karla began her real estate career after relocating from Dallas to the Austin area in 2004. Her early experience working in a title office provided firsthand insight into the closing process and the many steps involved in completing a real estate transaction. She later served as a Contract to Close Coordinator for the DMTX Realty Group’s top-producing team, where she became deeply familiar with the operational side of real estate and the many details required to guide transactions from contract through closing.
That experience has given Karla a strong foundation in the mechanics of Texas real estate transactions and a practical understanding of what it takes to successfully move a deal forward. Whether working with residential properties or assisting clients exploring Texas land and ranch opportunities in the Hill Country, she helps buyers and sellers understand the process and the decisions involved along the way.
In addition to her work as an agent, Karla serves as Director of Operations for DMTX Realty Group and its ranch division, TexasLand. In that role she supports the brokerage’s land agents and helps coordinate the operational side of a growing Texas land brokerage that specializes in ranch properties, recreational land, and investment acreage across the state.
Living in Southwest Austin with her husband and two children, Karla spends much of her free time supporting her kids at local sports fields and enjoying the outdoor lifestyle that draws so many families to the Hill Country. Her familiarity with the region and its communities gives her valuable perspective when working with clients exploring opportunities in the area.
Through her combined experience in real estate operations and client representation, Karla helps guide buyers and sellers through each stage of the transaction process while navigating the details involved in today’s Texas real estate and land markets.
